Abstract

Culture is a way of life that includes knowledge, attitudes, behavior patterns, beliefs, arts, morals, laws, customs and habits that are owned and inherited by members of a particular society as evidence of the triumph of human life to overcome various obstacles and difficulties of life in order to achieve salvation. and happiness that is orderly and peaceful. In addition, culture can also be interpreted as a way of life that develops and is shared by a group of people and is passed down from generation to generation. In connection with this, it is necessary to have a place that can facilitate this goal as a real step for the government in developing the culture in the area. The approaches taken in planning the development of this Cultural Park include: Design considering the RTRW of the area, Energy Saving Architecture, Having certain characteristics for similar buildings in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Having open spaces as public spaces, Buildings and spaces that adapt to people's lifestyles who still adhere to the community culture. Keywords : Architecture Design, Cultural Park, Green Architecture Budaya adalah cara kehidupan yang mencakup pengetahuan, sikap, pola perilaku, kepercayaan, kesenian, moral, hukum, adat dan kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang dimiliki dan diwariskan oleh anggota suatu masyarakat tertentu sebagai bukti kejayaan hidup manusia untuk mengatasi berbagai rintangan dan kesukaran hidup guna mencapai keselamatan dan kebahagiaan yang bersifat tertib dan damai. Selain itu Budaya juga dapat diartikan sebagai suatu cara hidup yang berkembang dan dimiliki bersama oleh sebuah kelompok orang dan diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut maka diperlukan adanya suatu tempat yang bisa memfasilitasi tujuan tersebut sebagai langkah nyata pemerintah dalam mengembangkan kebudayaan yang ada didaerahnya. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam perencanaan pembangunan Taman Budaya ini antara lain : Desain mempertimbangkan RTRW kawasan, Arsitektur Hemat Energi, Memiliki ciri khas tertentu untuk bangunan sejenis di Daerah Istimewah Yogyakarta, Memiliki ruang terbuka sebagai ruang public, Bangunan serta ruang-ruang yang menyesuaikan pola hidup masyarakat yang masih menganut budaya keguyuban.
