Abstract
PT. XYZ since 2017 is devoted to producing barbie type toys only. The barbie manufacturing process uses the job shop scheduling type. Each type of barbie has different compilation components and processing times. The difference in the time of the production process, requires companies to be able to draw up a production schedule so that the completion time of all jobs (makespan) produced reaches the minimum value before the specified due date. Based on the method applied at PT. XYZ is the Earliest Due Date (EDD) method, the job sequence is 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15. Based on the calculation results and data processing using the Campbell Dudeck Smith (CDS), Heuristic Palmer, and Earliest Due Date (EDD) methods obtained the best results on the Campbell Dudeck Smith (CDS) method because it produces the smallest makespan value of 32 days and no late jobs. Key Words: Job Shop, Processing Time, Due Date, CDS, Heuristik Palmer, EDD. PT. XYZ sejak tahun 2017 dikhususkan untuk memproduksi mainan jenis barbie saja. Proses produksi pembuatan barbie menggunakan tipe penjadwalan job shop. Setiap jenis barbie memiliki komponen penyusun dan waktu proses yang berbeda-beda. Adanya perbedaan waktu proses produksi tersebut, menuntut perusahaan untuk mampu menyusun jadwal produksi agar waktu penyelesaian semua pekerjaan (makespan) yang dihasilkan mencapai nilai paling minimal sebelum due date yang ditetapkan. Berdasarkan metode yang diterapkan di PT. XYZ yaitu metode Earliest Due Date (EDD), maka urutan pengerjaan job adalah 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14-15.Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan pengolahan data dengan menggunakan metode Campbell Dudeck Smith (CDS), Heuristik Palmer, dan Earliest Due Date (EDD) maka diperoleh hasil yang paling baik pada metode Campbell Dudeck Smith (CDS) karena menghasilkan nilai makespan terkecil yaitu 32 hari dan tidak ada job yang terlambat. Kata kunci: Job Shop, Waktu Proses, Due Date, CDS, Heuristik Palmer, EDD.
