Abstract
PT. Fajarindo Faliman Zipper is a company engaged in the field of textiles that produces zippers. One part of its production is the Finish Assembly division. The purpose of this study is to reduce cycle times and balance the path of making FFZ25 Coil Zipper type. This study uses the Line Balancing method and the tool used is the Therblig Map. From the identification results, there are two wastes, namely waste of waiting, and waste of motion and improvement can reduce cycle times by up to 60% and Line Efficiency values increase to 79.5%. Recommendations for improvement with the Therblig Map are the addition of man power, and the incorporation of work stations in the finish assembly line. Keywords: Line Balancing, Therblig, Waste of Waiting, Waste of Motion. PT. Fajarindo Faliman Zipper merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang Tekstil yang memproduksi Ritsleting. Salah satu bagian produksinya yaitu divisi Finish Assembly. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menurunkan waktu siklus dan menyeimbangkan lintasan pembuatan Coil Zipper type FFZ-25. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Line Balancing dan alat bantu yang digunakan adalah Peta Therblig. Dari hasil indentifikasi terdapat dua waste yaitu waste of waiting, dan waste of motion dan perbaikan dapat menurunkan waktu siklus hingga 60% dan nilai Line Efficiency Meningkat menjadi 79.5%. Rekomendasi usulan perbaikan dengan Peta Therblig yakni penambahan man power, dan penggabungan stasiun kerja pada lini finish assembly.
