Abstract

ABSTRACT Society, especially young people today are more familiar with the local culture itself, making them love and preserve the culture of the region so it can not be even better prevented as early as possible. People, especially young people today know more foreign culture than their own local culture, they should love and preserve the culture of the region so as not to be forgotten or even acknowledged in other countries so it needs to be prevented as early as possible. So this final project aims to reintroduce the existing Sundanese culture in Bogor district in an effort to raise public awareness to preserve this existing culture through short messages from public service advertisements and other promotional media that are well packed and interesting. The target market in this work can be consumed by 12-35 years with all educational background to junior high school up to the worker, with middle economic background because of the background of this study on the cultural preservation of one city in Indonesia so that all people have the right to know and help preserve it. Key Word : Public Service Advertising, Cultural Preservation ABSTRAK Masyarakat khususnya anak muda jaman sekarang lebih mengetahui budaya asing daripada budaya lokal sendiri, seharusnya mereka mencintai dan menjaga kelestarian budaya daerahnya agar tidak terlupakan atau bahkan diakui di negara lain sehingga perlu dicegah sedini mungkin. Sehingga tugas akhir ini bertujuan sebagai memperkenalkan kembali budaya sunda yang ada di kabupaten Bogor dalam upaya meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk tetap melestarikan budaya yang sudah ada ini melalui pesan singkat dari iklan layanan masyarakat dan media promosi lainnya yang dikemas dengan baik dan menarik. Target pasar dalam karya ini dapat dikonsumsi oleh 12-35 tahun dengan semua latar belakang pendidikan smp sampai pekerja, dengan latar ekonomi sosialnya menengah kebawah karena penelitian ini mengenai pelestarian budaya salah satu kota yang ada di Indonesia sehingga semua masyarakat berhak mengetahui dan membantu melestarikannya.
