Abstract

This study aims to determine the efficiency of the total cost of spare parts inventory by using the Economic Order Quantity analysis method. The object of research in this thesis is the supply of spare parts for tires 7.50-16 at PT. XYZ. In data collection, the researchers compared the Traditional or Actual Company Methods with the Economic Order Quantity Method in 2019 and 2020. The data that has been collected is processed into several references in the calculation so that there is a difference in the two methods. The results showed that the Economic Order Quantity method was able to streamline costs in controlling spare parts inventory at PT. XYZ. Keywords : Inventory, EOQ, Spare Parts, Cost Of Inventory Control, Company Actual, Effeciency Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui effisiensi total biaya persediaan suku cadang dengan menggunakan metode analisis Economic Order Quantity. Adapun objek penelitian pada Tesis ini adalah persediaan Suku Cadang Ban Luar 7.50-16 pada PT. XYZ. Pada pengumpulan data, peneliti membandingkan antara Metode Tradisional atau Aktual Perusahaan dengan Metode Economic Order Quantity pada Tahun 2019 dan 2020. Data yang telah terkumpul diolah menjadi beberapa acuan dalam perhitungan sehingga terdapat selisih pada kedua metode tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa metode Economic Order Quantity dapat mengeffisiensikan biaya pada pengendalian persediaan suku cadang di PT. XYZ.
