Abstract
Current technological developments are causing experts to continue to use fuel cells. One thing that underlies is the depletion of fossil fuels. Some alternative energy sources that have been applied, such as solar panels and batteries, have proven to have good prospects. However, it is still necessary to increase efficiency and energy that can be produced, energy fuel cells (fuel cells) are renewable energy that is clean, safe, and has high energy efficiency. Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PMFC) are indispensable to be a source of electricity power supply. Because it works at relatively low temperatures, high power density and efficiency. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the influence of temperature on the polarization curve, how does temperature affect the value of the voltage and output power of PEMFC, and what is the estimated hydrogen fuel consumed by the PEMFC system. After that, the purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of temperature on the polarization curve, analyze the effect of temperature on the value of voltage and output power in the PEMFC system, and to analyze the calculation of the fuel consumed by the PEMFC system. In this study, PMFC characteristics will be simulated using the MATLAB R2019A software program designed to simulate PEMFC power with an active area of 100
