Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to find out the prejudice picture between groups of public prisoners (tamping) against terrorism prisoners in the context of intergroup threat theory in the Rutan X. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological method. The subjects in this study amounted to 3 people with the criteria of prisoners who are serving a criminal sentence. Data obtained using the semi-structured interview method. The analytical approach used is the Interpretative Phenomenology Analysis (IPA). The results of data analysis note that the subject of a prejudiced threat occurred to him. The description of prejudice between groups of general prisoners against terrorist prisoners is examined based on the theories of Stephan, Ybarra and Morrison (2009). The three subjects are prejudiced threats can occur realistically (realistic threat), symbolic (symbolic threat), and anxiety from interactions with other groups (intergroup threat). Keywords: Prejudice, Interaction, Threat Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran prasangka antara kelompok narapidana umum (tamping) terhadap tahanan terorisme dalam konteks intergroup threat theory di Rutan X. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif fenomenologi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang dengan kriteria narapidana yang sedang menjalani hukuman pidana. Data yang diperoleh menggunakan metode wawancara semi terstruktur. Pendekatan analisis yang digunakan adalah Analisis Fenomenologi Intepretatif (AFI) atau Interpretative Phenomenologi Analysis (IPA). Hasil analisa data diketahui bahwa subjek berprasangka ancaman terjadi pada dirinya. Gambaran prasangka antara kelompok narapidana umum terhadap tahanan teroris dikaji berdasarkan teori Stephan, Ybarra dan Morrison (2009). Ketiga subjek berprasangka ancaman dapat terjadi secara realistik (realistic threat), simbolik (symbolic threat), dan kecemasan dari interaksi dengan kelompok lain (intergroup threat).
