Abstract

Industri Alat Musik merupakan salah satu industri manufaktur elektronik yang bergerak di bidang produksi alat-alat musik elektronik seperti piano. Pada proses produksi masih terdapat beberapa permasalahan yang harus dihadapi, diantaranya terdapat pemborosan dan beberapa hasil produksi yang tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi. Eliminasi pemborosan yang terjadi, merupakan sebuah strategi yang efektif sebagai upaya perbaikan berkelanjutan agar tercipta sistem kerja yang efektif dan efisien serta agar perusahaan mampu bersaing di pasar global. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kualitas produksi dengan mengeliminasi pemborosan, mencari penyebab masalah dan melakukan tindakan perbaikan. Cara ini dilakukan agar perusahaan mampu bersaing di pasar global. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pada lini produksi Side Board. Metode yang digunakan yaitu integrasi Lean Six Sigma dengan kerangka DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping dan uji korelasi ANOVA. Hasil pengolahan data dan analisis yang dilakukan, diperoleh tiga jenis pemborosan yaitu overproduction, transportation dan defect. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan: overproduction mengalami penurunan sebesar 41%, cycle time produksi Side Board berkurang sebesar 373 detik dan kualitas produksi meningkat dari rata-rata sigma level 3,56 menjadi 3,79. Selanjutnya, dari hasil uji dengan ANOVA, terdapat peningkatan kualitas produksi dengan penurunan pemborosan (waste elimination). === The Musical Instrument Industry is one of the electronic manufacturing industries engaged in the production of electronic musical instruments such as pianos. In the production process, there are still several problems that must be faced, including waste and some production results that are not following specifications. Elimination of waste that occurs is an effective strategy as an effort to continuously improve to create an effective and efficient work system and so that the company can compete in the global market. The purpose of this research is to improve the quality of production by eliminating waste, finding the cause of the problem and taking corrective action. This is done so that the company can compete in the global market. The focus of this research is on the Side Board production line. The method used is the integration of Lean Six Sigma with the DMAIC framework, Value Stream Mapping and ANOVA correlation test. The results of data processing and analysis carried out, obtained three types of waste, namely overproduction, transportation and defect. The conclusion of the research shows: overproduction has decreased by 41%, Side Board production cycle time has decreased by 373 seconds and production quality has increased from an average sigma level of 3.56 to 3.79. Furthermore, from the test results with ANOVA, there is an increase in production quality with a decrease in waste (waste elimination).
