Abstract
Implementasi Dividen Digital serta kemajuan ASO di Indonesia, saat ini sangat lambat dan sulit dibandingkan dengan negara lain. Salah satu masalah utama adalah kurangnya pengukuran penerima TV Digital termasuk penetrasi receiver set- top-box (STB). Dalam penelitian ini, untuk mengukur penetrasi penerima dengan melakukan survei online dengan formulir google dan geotagging responden untuk mengumpulkan data kualitatif dan menggunakan teknologi informasi dari Unified Theory of Acceptance dan Use of Technology (UTAUT). Dengan survei itu, penerimaan publik dan pengetahuan penerima TV digital dan set-top-box dikumpulkan dan dianalisis. Sebagian besar responden survei tinggal di wilayah yang lebih luas di Jakarta. Dalam penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa 11,76% responden memiliki pengetahuan tentang cara menggunakan STB, 7,38% dari responden berniat untuk membeli STB dalam waktu 1 bulan dengan persetujuan dan iklan dari pemangku kepentingan yang relevan seperti regulator dan penyiaran. Dengan hasil survei ini, disarankan bahwa tambahan program TV digital, peningkatan kualitas penerimaan dan pengalaman diperlukan untuk meningkatkan motivasi responden untuk membeli set-top-box baru, serta kemampuan untuk menonton siaran TV free to air yang ada. untuk menyiarkan program TV Analog. Program TV baru, termasuk "killer content" seperti program sepak bola nasional, acara TV realitas populer juga harus dimasukkan untuk secara signifikan meningkatkan penetrasi penerima TV Digital di Indonesia. Kata kunci : Analog Switch Off (ASO), Digital Free-to-Air (FTA) TV broadcasts, Set-top-Box (STB), Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), online survey, geo-tagging. The Digital Dividend implementation as well as ASO progress in Indonesia, currently is very slow and difficult compared with other countries. One of main the problem is lack of measurement of Digital TV receiver including set-top-box (STB) receiver penetration. In this research, we measured the receiver penetration by conducting the online survey wih google form and geotagging of the respondents to collect the qualitative data and use information technology of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). With that survey, the public acceptance and knowledge of digital TV receiver and set top box were collected and analyzed. Most of the respondens of the survey lives in Jakarta greater area. In this research, it is found that 11,76% of responden had knowledge on how to use the STB, 7.38% of the respondens intend to purchase the STB within 1 month subject to the endorsement and advertisement of releavant stakeholder such as regulators and broadcasters. With this survey result, we suggest that the additional of digital TV programs, improvement of quality of reception and experience were needed to increase the motivation of respondend to purchase new set-top-box, as well as the ability to watch the existing free-to-air Analog TV programs. New TV programme, including "killer content" such as national soccer programs, popular reality TV show should also be included to significantly increase the penetration of Digital TV receiver in Indonesia.
