Abstract
The research is to know if there’s an influence of the intensity of viewing humor content to the resilience of Twitter users among teenagers. This research use quantitative approach as the approaches. Total of the respondent on this research is 415 teenagers who used Twitter which has the appropriate criteria as aged around 12 – 21 years old, Twitter user, like to see humor content and speaks Bahasa. With this, samples selection technique that used in this research is purposive sampling. Intensity was measured with a scale that have 25 items on it and for the resilience, it was also measured with a scale that have 25 items. This research uses linear regression to know the impact of intensity seeing humor content to the resilience. Results showed that there’s a significant impact between intensity towards resilience even though it turns out with a small percentage. With the R Square score was 0,019 and the significant score was 0,005, it means that there’s an influence of the intensity of viewing humor content towards the resilience. Keyword: Intensity, Humor, Resilience, Twitter, Teenagers Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh intensitas melihat konten humor terhadap resiliensi pengguna Twitter di kalangan remaja. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 415 remaja pengguna Twitter yang memiliki kriteria sesuai dengan penelitian yaitu berusia sekitar 12 – 21 tahun, pengguna Twitter, suka melihat konten humor dan juga berbahasa Indonesia. Dengan ini, teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Intensitas diukur menggunakan skala yang terdiri dari 25 item dan untuk resiliensi juga diukur menggunakan skala yang terdiri dari 25 item. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh intensitas melihat konten humor terhadap resiliensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara intensitas terhadap resiliensi meskipun memiliki persentase yang kecil. Dengan nilai R Square sebesar 0,019 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,005, yang berarti intensitas melihat konten humor memiliki pengaruh terhadap resiliensi.
