Abstract
The research was conducted to determine the differences in self efficacy seen from gender in working students in the psychology faculty who were completing their thesis at the University of X. Most students worked to find it difficult to finishing the thesis with various reasons such as lack of support from the environment, or difficulty in representation the problem is related to the theory of self efficacy. The number of samples is 78 students selected by the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection is done by using the scale of self efficacy based on the dimensions stated by Albert Bandura. This research uses the Independent Sample T-test analysis technique with t-count = -3,240 and p-value = 0,002, meaning that there are differences in self-efficacy between male and female students who are completing their final assignments. The average score of the score produced by female students is higher than that of male students. The mean score of female students is 43.83 and the mean score of male students is 38.26 Keywords : Self Efficacy, Working Students, Thesis, Sex Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan self efficacy dilihat dari jenis kelamin pada mahasiswa bekerja fakultas psikologi yang sedang menyelesaikan tugas akhir di Universitas X. kebanyakan mahasiswa bekerja merasa kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan tugas akhir dengan berbagai alasan seperti kurangnya dukungan dari lingkungan, atau kesulitan representasi ke dalam tulisan, masalah tersebut berkaitan dengan teori self efficacy. Jumlah sampel 78 mahasiswa yang dipilih dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala self efficacy berdasarkan dimensi yang dikemukakan Albert Bandura. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisa Independent Sample T-test dengan t-hitung = - 3,240 dan nilai p = 0,002, artinya terdapat perbedaan self efficacy antara mahasiswa laki-laki dan mahasiswi perempuan yang sedang menyelesaikan tugas akhir. Nilai rerata skor yang dihasilkan mahasiswa berjenis kelamin perempuan lebih tinggi dibanding mahasiswa laki-laki. Skor mean mahasiswi perempuan sebesar 43,83 dan skor mean mahasiswa laki-laki sebesar 38,26 Kata Kunci : Self Efficacy,Mahasiswa Bekerja,Tugas Akhir, Jenis Kelamin
