Abstract
The purpose of this research to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity and leverage on financial difficulties carried out by manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of this research is 142 manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2016 – 2018 . The sample is determined based on the sample size method, as many as 104 companies. The results of this research are profitability and liquidity had a negative and significant effect on financial difficulties. While leverage has a positive and significant effect on financial difficulties. Keywords: profitability, liquidity, leverage, financial distress Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh profitabilitas, likuiditas dan leverage terhadap financial distress yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan manufaktur di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2016 – 2018. Sampel ditentukan berdasarkan metode sample size, sebanyak 104 perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profitabilitas dan likuiditas berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap financial distress. Sedangkan leverage berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress. Kata Kunci : profitabilitas, likuiditas, leverage, financial distress.
