Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of career paths and employee competencies on job satisfaction of Polri Security Intelligence Agency employees. To find out and analyze the influence of career path, employee competence and job satisfaction of employees on the capability of the National Police Security Intelligence Agency. The research method used is a quantitative method with a type of causality approach. The population in this study were all employees of the National Police Security Intelligence Agency included in the category III and IV civil servants as many as 73. The sample method used was probability sampling with a simple random sampling technique, then the sample in this study was 73 respondents . The data analysis method in this study uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the help of the Smart PLS 3.0 program. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that career levels and employee competencies are proven to have an influence on job satisfaction of Polri Security Intelligence Agency employees. Career path and employee job satisfaction are proven to have an influence on the capability of the National Police Security Intelligence Agency. Whereas employee competence is proven to have no influence on the capability of the National Police Security Intelligence Agency. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh jenjang karir dan kompetensi pegawai terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Badan Intelijen Keamanan Polri. Untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh jenjang karir, kompetensi pegawai dan kepuasan kerja pegawai terhadap kapabilitas organisasi Badan Intelijen Keamanan Polri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis pendekatan kausalitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Badan Intelijen Keamanan Polri yang termasuk dalam kategori PNS golongan III dan IV yaitu sebanyak 73. Metode sampel yang digunakan adalah probability sampling dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan simple random sampling, maka sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 73 orang responden. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan menggunakan bantuan program Smart PLS 3.0. Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jenjang karir dan kompetensi pegawai terbukti memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai Badan Intelijen Keamanan Polri. Jenjang karir dan kepuasan kerja pegawai terbukti memiliki pengaruh terhadap kapabilitas organisasi Badan Intelijen Keamanan Polri. Sedangkan Kompetensi pegawai terbukti tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kapabilitas organisasi Badan Intelijen Keamanan Polri.
