Abstract

This study was conducted aiming to determine the effect of Current Ratio, Return on Assets, Debt Equity Ratio and Fixed Assets to Total Assets on Financial Distress in manufacturing companies. The object of this research is the metal sub-sector manufacturing companies and the like which were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 - 2018. The sample used was 9 companies selected from the metal and similar sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Determination of the sample in this study using purposive sampling method with criteria that have been determined by researchers using a causal design. Therefore, the data analysis used is the multiple linear regression test statistical analysis. The results of this study indicate that Current Ratio and Return on Assets have a significant positive effect on Financial Distress, while Debt Equity Ratio and Fixed Assets to Total Assets have a non-significant negative effect on Financial Distress. Keywords : Financial Distress, Current Ratio, Return on Assets, Debt Equity Ratio, Fixed Assets to Total Assets Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Current Ratio, Return on Assets, Debt Equity Ratio dan Fixed Assets to Total Assets terhadap Financial Distress pada perusahaan manufaktur. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor logam dan sejenisnya yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2015 – 2018. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 9 perusahaan terpilih dari sub sektor logam dan sejenisnya yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan kriteria yang sudah ditentukan oleh peneliti menggunakan desain kausal. Oleh karena itu, analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Current Ratio dan Return on Assets berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Financial Distress, sedangkan Debt Equity Ratio dan Fixed Assets to Total Assets berpengaruh negative tidak signifikan terhadap Financial Distress.
