Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of the Managerial Ownership, the Institutional Ownership, Leverage, and Size on Cost of Debt in manufacturing companies sector Consumer Goods Industry which listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2014-2018. The object of this study uses the goods and consumption sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014- 2018. The research sample was 14 of 54 companies that met the criteria. The sampling technique used in this study is the purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear analysis consisting of two variables, the dependent variable and the independent variable. The results of this study indicate that (1) Managerial Ownership has a positive and insignificant effect, (2) Leverage has a positive and significant effect, (3) Company size has a negative and no significant effect on Cost of Debt. Keywords : the Managerial Ownership, the Institutional Ownership, Leverage, and Company Size, Cost of Debt. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Kepemilikan Manajerial, Leverage dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Biaya Utang (Studi Empiris Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Sektor Barang dan Konsumsi yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2014 – 2018). Objek penelitian ini menggunakan perusahaan manufaktur sektor barang dan konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) Tahun 2014-2018. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 14 dari 54 perusahaan yang memenuhi kriteria. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah aalisis linier berganda yang terdiri dari dua yaitu variable dependen dan variable independen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Kepemilikan Manajerial berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan, (2) Leverage berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, (3) Ukuran Perusahaan berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Biaya Utang Kata kunci : Kepemilikan Manajerial, Leverage , Ukuran Perusahaan, Biaya Utang.
