Abstract

ABSTRAK Judul : Analisis Komparasi Pengaruh Penggunaan Crumb Rubber Sebagai Substitusi Agregat Halus Terhadap Perilaku Lentur Beton Perkerasan Kaku (Rigid Pavement), Nama : Ahmad Muzaki, Nim :41114310013, Pembimbing : Prof.Dr.Ir.Drs.Syafwandi,Msc. 2018. Beton adalah suatu material yang merupakan bentuk dasar dari kehidupan modern. Dalam perkembangan teknologi beton saat ini berjalan seiring dengan tuntutan kebutuhan yang ada dilapangan. Salah satu contoh tuntutan tersebut ada pada konstruksi beton perkerasan kaku (rigid pavement) yakni memperbaiki sifat beton yang getas, mudah retak, serta menaikan nilai kuat lentur. Penelitian ini dilakukan mengunakan bahan substitusi crumb rubber. Crumb rubber adalah limbah ban yang di sobek menjadi potongan kecil-kecil dan berfungsi untuk mengantikan sebagian agregat halus dengan variasi 10%, 20%, 30%. Penelitian ini menggunakan benda uji silinder dengan diameter 15 cm tinggi 30 cm serta benda uji beam dengan ukuran panjang 60 cm tinggi 15 cm lebar 15 cm. pengujian kuat tekan dilakukan pada umur 14 dan 28 hari sedangkan pengujian beam dilakukan pada umur 28 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kuat tekan menurun sekitar 25 %, kuat lentur naik pada variasi 10% namun menurun pada variasi 20% dan 30%. Sementara Pola keretakan benda uji beam berkurang seiring dengan peningkatan kandungan crumb rubber. Concrete is a material that is the basic form of modern life. In the current development of concrete technology goes hand in hand with the demands of existing needs in the field. One example of such demands is on rigid pavement concrete construction that improves the brittle, easy to crack, and enhances the flexural strength. This research was conducted using crumb rubber substitution material. Crumb rubber is a tire waste that is torn into small pieces and serves to replace some of the fine aggregates with variations of 10%, 20%, 30%. This research uses cylindrical test object with diameter 15 cm height 30 cm and beam test object with length length 60 cm height 15 cm wide 15 cm. compressive strength testing was performed at age 14 and 28 days while beam testing was performed at 28 days. The results showed that the compressive strength decreased by about 25%, the bending strength increased in the 10% variation but decreased in the variation of 20% and 30%.
