Abstract

Many industries require 24-hour nonstop operational hours. Continuous work hours require employees to work in a shift system. Night shift time may cause in mismatch between internal biological functions and social needs which can cause in drowsiness while working. For this reason, drowsiness detection devices are designed that can be monitored remotely. The author designed a study entitled "DESIGN OF DROWSINESS DETECTION DEVICE BASED ON RASPBERRY PI 3B + USING HAAR CASCADE METHOD". USB Webcam is as input, proceed to Rapsberry pi controller to produce Buzzer Sound output for first alert, Servo Motor Movement to move spray bottle and notification via Telegram Message Application. Based on the test results on the system designed, the average accuracy obtained is equal to 80%, average precision is equal to 86% and the average recall is 86%. This is depended on several factors, namely light, camera quality and internet stability. Keywords: Haar Cascade, Raspberry pi, Telegram Banyak industri yang menuntuk jam kerja operasional selama 24 jam nonstop. Jam kerja yang tanpa henti mengharuskan karyawan bekerja dalam sistem shift. Waktu shift malam mengakibatkan ketidakselarasan antara fungsi biologis internal dan kebutuhan social yang berujung pada rasa mengantuk saat bekerja. Untuk itu dirancanglah suatu alat pendeteksi kantuk yang dapat dimonitor secara jarak jauh. Penulis merancang penelitian berjudul “RANCANG BANGUN ALAT PENDETEKSI KANTUK BERBASIS RASPBERRY PI 3B+ MENGGUNAKAN METODE HAAR CASCADE”. USB Webcam sebagai input, dilanjutkan ke pengendali Rapsberry pi untuk menghasilkan output Bunyi Buzzer sebagai peringatan awal, Pergerakan Motor Servo untuk menggerakkan botol semprot dan Notifikasi melalui aplikasi Telegram. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian pada sistem yang dirancang, rata-rata akurasi yang didapatkan adalah sebesar 80%, rata-rata presisi adalah sebesar 86% dan rata rata recall adalah 93,33%. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi beberapa faktor, yaitu cahaya, kualitas kamera serta kestabilan internet. Kata Kunci : Haar Cascade, Raspberry pi, Telegram
