Abstract
RT.015 Cipinang Village, East Jakarta is one of the neighborhoods in Jakarta that operates a non-smoking area. Some other residents also benefited from being made the East Jakarta Cipinang RT.015 village to become a non-smoking area. One of them is that now the neighborhood around the village is cleaner and more organized, compared to a few years ago, it looked slum. This research is to find out the application of non-smoking areas in interpersonal communication in Cipinang, East Jakarta by using communication theory, self-concept, experience (phenomenology) and community relations. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the phenomenology method and descriptive research type. The results of this study explain how to apply non-smoking areas in interpersonal communication in Cipinang, East Jakarta, starting with routine meetings every two weeks, counseling residents, installing banners and flyers in every house and neighborhood RT.015. This study concluded that the colorful village community of RT.015 Cipinang accepted the KTR policy development plan. There is a public view that KTR policies are very useful, suitable to be applied in densely populated environments. The acceptance of the KTR policy has been realized with the awareness of some of the Cipinang RT.015 residents to change their non-smoking behavior and dispose of putung cigarettes in front of them or in their homes. Keywords : Application,Non-Smoking Area, Interpersonal Communication, RT.015 Cipinang, East Jakarta Kampung RT.015 Cipinang Jakarta Timur merupakan salah satu perkampungan Jakarta yang dilingkungannya menerapkan kawasan tanpa asap rokok. Beberapa warga lain pun juga merasakan manfaat dari dijadikannya kampung RT.015 Cipinang Jakarta Timur menjadi kawasan bebas rokok. Satu diantaranya adalah kini lingkungan sekitar kampung lebih bersih dan tertata, ketimbang beberapa tahun lalu terlihat kumuh. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan kawasan tanpa asap rokok dalam komunikasi interpersonal di Cipinang Jakarta Timur dengan menggunakan landasaan teori komunikasi, konsep diri, dan community relations. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode fenomenologi dan tipe penelitian deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bagaimana cara penerapan kawasan tanpa asap rokok dalam komunikasi interpersonal di Cipinang Jakarta Timur, dimulai dengan cara rutinitas rapat setiap 2 minggu sekali, penyuluhan terhadap warga, memasang spanduk dan pamflet di setiap rumah warga dan lingkungan RT.015. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan Masyarakat kampung warna-warni RT.015 Cipinang menerima rencana pengembangan kebijakan KTR. Adanya pandangan masyarakat bahwa kebijakan KTR sangat bermanfaat, sesuai untuk diterapkan di lingkungan padat penduduk. Penerimaan terhadap kebijakan KTR sudah diwujudkan dengan adanya kesadaran sebagian warga RT.015 Cipinang untuk mengubah perilaku tidak merokok dan buang putung rokok di depan atau diteras rumahnya.
