Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of profitability, dividend policy on stock prices. Profitability in this study uses the ratio of net profit margin (NPM) and return on equity (ROE). The population used in this study is the consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2016- 2018 period. The sample selection was using purposive sampling method. The method of analysis uses multiple regression test with SPSS 25. The results show that the profitability proxied by Net Profit Margin (NPM) has no significant effect on stock prices, while the profitability proxied by Return On Equity (ROE) has a significant effect on stock prices. Keywords : Profitability, Dividend Policy, Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Equity (ROE) and Stock Prices. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas, dividend policy terhadap harga saham. Profitabilitas dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rasio net profit margin (NPM) dan return on equity (ROE). Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2016-2018. Pemilihan sampel dengan metode purposive sampling. Metode analisis menggunakan uji regresi berganda dengan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Profitabilitas yang diproksikan oleh Net Profit Margin (NPM) berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Harga Saham, sedangkan profitabilitasyang diproksikan oleh Return On Equity (ROE) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Harga Saham. Kata kunci : Profitabilitas, Dividend policy, Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return On Equity (ROE) dan Harga Saham.
