Abstract

The need for fast, accurate, and up-to-date information is vital in improving the company's performance as well as for decision making that supports the company in a competitive market. That is why quality information becomes very important for the company. Currently PT. Niagaprima Paramitra already has an application system used in performing daily work activities called TESSA. However, mangement and executives still have difficulties in analyzing the company's performance because of the complexity of the reporting form used, and the length of time required by the company's Sales Admin in making the required Account Manager performance report and the unavailability of Technical Consultant performance reports required by management and executive. In making the required Account Manager performance report, the company's Sales Admin takes a long time while there is still another work to be done. Dependency on Admin Sales in making Account Manager performance report required also hinder the management and executives in the process of analyzing performance, strategy design, and decision making. A solution that PT can use. Niagaprima Paramitra to solve the problems that occur in management and corporate executives in the process of analyzing the performance of the company from Account Manager performance reports and Technical Consultant. By implementing Business Intelligence (BI) applications the company can solve the above problems. The application method used in this research is by using multidimensional design or often called nine step design method. Software that supports the making of Business Intelligence, namely Talend and Tableau. The result of this Final Project is the Dashboard Business Intelligence to analyze the performance of account manager and Technical Consultant. This analysis can be used as an executive reference in making decisions. Keywords: Business Intelligence, Account Manager, Technical Consultant, Tableau, Talend Kebutuhan informasi yang cepat, akurat, dan mutakhir sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dan juga untuk pengambilan keputusan yang mendukung perusahaan di pasar yang kompetitif. Itulah sebabnya kualitas informasi menjadi sangat penting bagi perusahaan. Saat ini PT. Niagaprima Paramitra sudah memiliki sebuah sistem aplikasi yang digunakan dalam melakukan kegiatan pekerjaan sehari-hari yang bernama TESSA. Akan tetapi para mangement dan eksekutif masih kesulitan dalam menganalisa kinerja perusahaan karena rumitnya bentuk laporan yang digunakan, dan lamanya waktu yang dibutuhkan oleh Admin Sales perusahaan dalam pembuatan laporan kinerja Account Manager yang dibutuhkan dan belum tersedianya laporan kinerja Technical Consultant yang dibutuhkan juga oleh para management dan eksekutif. Dalam pembuatan laporan kinerja Account Manager yang dibutuhkan, Admin Sales perusahaan memerlukan waktu yang lama sedangkan masih ada pekerjaan lain yang harus dikerjakan. Ketergantungan terhadap Admin Sales dalam pembuatan laporan kinerja Account Manager yang dibutuhkan juga menghambat para manajemen dan eksekutif dalam proses menganalisa kinerja, perancangan strategi, dan pengambilan keputusan. Sebuah solusi yang dapat digunakan PT. Niagaprima Paramitra untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi pada manajemen dan eksekutif perusahaan dalam proses menganalisa kinerja perusahaan dari laporan kinerja Account Manager dan Technical Consultant. Dengan menerapkan aplikasi Business Intelligence (BI) perusahaan dapat menyelesaikan masalah diatas. Metode penerapan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan desain multidimensi atau sering disebut nine step design method. Software yang mendukung pada pembuatan Business Intelligence, yaitu Talend dan Tableau. Hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini adalah dihasilkannya Dashboard Business Intelligence untuk menganalisa kinerja account manager dan Technical Consultant. Analisa ini bisa dijadikan sebagai acuan eksekutif dalam mengambil keputusan. Kata Kunci: Business Intelligence, Account Manager, Technical Consultant, Tableau, Talend
