Abstract

This research is based on the background of NET TV which has an informative program that attracts the attention of Indonesian Muslim youth. NET TV, which recently, aired an inspiring Islamic program, namely SALIHA. The researcher chose SALIHA as the object of research because the program had strong interactions with Muslim youth in Indonesia. So that researchers are interested in conducting research because the SALIHA program discusses Islamic content that has a different concept from other Islamic programs. The purpose of this study is to describe the meaning of the SALIHA program on NET TV. The theory used in this study is Stuart Hall's theory with a qualitative descriptive research approach. The research method is Reception Analysis. Reception Study Analysis uses the criteria of media text readers, namely Dominant Readers (dominant hegemonic position), Negotiated Readers (negotiated code / position), and operational code / position. The results of this study in general can be concluded that the meaning of the audience for the SALIHA program falls into the dominant category (dominant hegemonic position). Audiences can make decisions freely about the meaning of the SALIHA program. Keywords: Television Program, Muslimah, Islamic Religion Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh NET TV yang memiliki program acara yang informatif dan menarik perhatian remaja muslimah Indonesia. NET TV yang belum lama ini, menayangkan program Islami yang menginspirasi, yaitu SALIHA. Peneliti memilih SALIHA menjadi objek penelitian karena program tersebut memiliki interaksi yang kuat dengan remaja muslimah di Indonesia. Sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian karena program acara SALIHA membahas mengenai konten Islami yang memiliki konsep berbeda dengan program-program Islami lainya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pemaknaan terhadap program acara SALIHA di NET TV. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Stuart Hall dengan pendekatan penelitian Deskriptif Kualitatif. Metode penelitian ialah Analisis Resepsi. Analisis Studi Resepsi menggunakan kriteria pembaca teks media yaitu Pembaca Dominan (dominant hegemonic position), Pembaca Negosiasi (negotiated code/position), dan Pembaca Oposisi (operational code/position). Hasil penelitian ini secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemaknaan khalayak terhadap program acara SALIHA masuk ke dalam kategori Dominan (dominant hegemonic position). Khalayak dapat mengambil keputusan secara bebas terhadap pemaknaan program acara SALIHA. Kata kunci : Program Televisi, Muslimah, Agama Islam
