Abstract

Penulis naskah atau script writer adalah orang yang bertugas menulis naskah cerita. Naskah cerita merupakan blueprint (cetak biru) bahkan bisa dikatakan sebagai tulang dalam produksi film. Film Sweet 20 yang disutradarai oleh Ody C Harahap dan ditulis langsung oleh Upi merupakan adaptasi dari film Korea yaitu Miss Granny. Film ini menjadi box office hingga ditonton lebih dari 8 juta penonton. Upi selaku penulis skenario dan produser kreatif, mampu membungkus cerita dan menyisipkan unsur lokal di dalam film Sweet 20 ini. Bahkan jika sudah menonton Miss Granny, tidak akan merasakan nuansa Korea Selatan lagi ketika menyaksikan Sweet 20. Hal itu karena film ini terasa dekat dengan masyarakat Indonesia. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang menggambarkan, meringkaskan berbagai kondisi, berbagai situasi, atau fenomena realitas sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan beberapa narasumber dari film Sweet 20. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, peran penulis dalam mengangkat nilai kearifan lokal film Sweet 20 ini terlihat dari proses kreatif bagaimana penulis bisa menerjemahkan budaya Korea Selatan kedalam budaya Indonesia. Sehingga penonton akan merasakan perbedaan dan menemukan ciri khas film Sweet 20 ini. Tentunya ini tidak terlepas dari pentingnya seorang penulis yang berhasil mengadaptasi film ini. The story script is a blueprint can even be said as a bone in film production. The Sweet 20 movie directed by Ody C Harahap and written directly by Upi is an adaptation of the Korean movie Miss Granny. The film became a box office to watch more than 8 million viewers. Upi as a screenwriter and creative producer, able to wrap the story and insert a local element in the movie Sweet 20 this. Even if you've seen Miss Granny, will not feel the feel of South Korea again when watching Sweet 20. That's because this movie feels close to the people of Indonesia. The type of research used is descriptive, with a qualitative approach that describes, summarizes the various conditions, situations, or phenomena of social reality. The method used is case study method. Technique of data collecting is done by in-depth interview which aims to describe the result of research by conducting in-depth interview with some speakers from Sweet 20 movie. The results of research and discussion, the role of authors in raising the value of local wisdom Sweet 20 film is seen from the creative process of how the author can translate Korean culture into Indonesian culture. So the audience will feel the difference and find the characteristic of this Sweet 20 movie. Surely this is inseparable from the importance of a writer who managed to adapt this film.
