Abstract

COG Booster is a facility that distribute coke oven gas from Coke Oven Battery to other facility. COG Booster failure will reduce other facility productivity. Thus, sudden COG Booster failure must be prevented. Vibration diagnosis technique can be used to detect machine failure. By vibration measurement, we can analyze vibration spectrum. But, to do vibration analysist we must have proper knowledge to determine machine failure. By expert opinion, expert system that using Bayesian network can detect COG Booster failure. Failure can be detected using generated signal at certain frequency based on expert opinion. Expert system examined by comparing expert system result against vibration analysist using COG Booster with 1484 rpm and motor capacity 1700 kw. Generally, there is no vibration signal generated above 2,4 Hz or the machine is in good condition. The result, expert system can detect generated signal correspond with expert system. Keywords: Vibration analysist, COG Booster, Bayesian network, expert system, vibration signal, vibration spectrum COG Booster adalah fasiltas yang mendistribusikan coke oven gas dari Coke Oven Battery menuju fasilitas lainnya. Kerusakan COG Booster akan berakibat terkendalanya distribusi gas yang berakibat berkurangnya produktifitas fasilitas lain. Untuk itu, Kerusakan mendadak COG Booster harus dicegah. Teknik analisis getaran dapat digunakn untuk mendeteksi kerusakan mesin. Melalui pengukuran getaran, kita dapat menganalisis spektrum getaran. Tetapi, untuk menganalisis getaran memerlukan pengetahuan untuk menentukan kerusakan mesin. Melalui kesimpulan pakar, sistem pakar yang menggunaan jaringan Bayesian dapat mendeteksi kerusakan COG Booster. Kerusakan dideteksi melalui sinyal yang muncul pada frekeuensi tertentu berdasarkan kesimpulan pakar. Sistem pakar diuji dengan cara membandingkan hasil kesimpulan sistem pakar dengan analisis getaran menggunakan COG Booster 1484 rpm dengan kapasitas motor 1700 kw. Secara umum, getaran yang timbul tidak ada yang melebihi 2,4 Hz atau batas mesin yang normal. Dalam hasil pengujian, sistem pakar mampu mendeteksi munculnya sinyal yang sesuai dengan analisis pakar.
