Abstract
This research is to find out the effect of current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and total asset turnover to return on assets (ROA) in pharmaceutical sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018. The selection of samples used in this research used a saturated sample method and obtained 7 companies as samples. Research data was obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. A more appropriate methode is software eviews 9. Partially it shows that only the current ratio and debt equity ratio variable has a negative and significant effect meanwhile total asset turn over variable has a positive and not significant effect impact on return on assets (ROA). Keyword: return on asset, current ratio, debt to equity ratio, and total asset turnover Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh current ratio, debt to equity ratio, dan total asset turnover terhadap return on asset (ROA) pada perusahaan sub sektor farmasi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2014-2018. Pemilihan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sampel jenuh dan didapatkan 7 perusahaan sebagai sampel. Data penelitian diperoleh dari Bursa Efek Indonesia. Metode yang lebih tepat digunakan adalah software Eviews 9. Secara parsial menunjukan bahwa hanya variabel current ratio dan debt equity ratio yang berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan sedangkan variabel total asset turnover secara parsial memiliki pengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap return on asset (ROA). Kata Kunci: return on asset, current ratio, debt to equity ratio, dan total asset turnover.
