Abstract

This study aims to analyze the structure of assets, profitability, and sales growth of the capital structure (empirical study of consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016 - 2018). The sample selection method in this study is random sampling with a total of 29 insurance companies sampled from 45 populations of consumer goods industry companies listed on the IDX. Data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistics, the classic assumption test, hypothesis testing, and multiple linear regression tests. The results of this study indicate that asset structure and profitability have a significant effect on capital structure. While sales growth has no significant effect on capital structure. Keywords : Structure Of Assets, Profitability, And Sales Growth Of The Capital Structure Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur aset, profitabilitas, dan pertumbuhan penjualan terhadap struktur modal (studi empiris perusahaan industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2016 – 2018). Metode pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini adal puposive sampling dengan total 29 perusahaan asuransi yang menjadi sampel dari 45 populasi perusahaan industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis, dan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa struktur aset dan profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Sedangkan pertumbuhan penjualan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Kata kunci : Struktur aset, Profitabilitas, Pertumbuhan penjualan dan Struktur modal.
