Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji pengaruh likuiditas, leverage, dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap financial distress sub sektor perdagangan eceran yang terdaftar di BEI periode 2014-2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan komponen likuiditas, leverage dan ukuran perusahaan sebagai variabel independen yang berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen, financial distress. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 11 perusahaan perdagangan eceran yang memenuhi kriteria. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan metode fixed method dan uji hipotesis menggunakan t-statistik untuk menguji koefisien regresi parsial. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa likuiditas dan ukuran perusahaan tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress. Leverage berpengaruh terhadap financial distress. Kata Kunci: Financial Distress, Likuiditas, Leverage, Ukuran Perusahaan This research was conducted to examine the influence of liquidity, leverage and firm size to the financial distress of the retail trade sub sector listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange periods 2014-2018. This research used liquidity, leverage and firm size as independent variables that influence the dependent variable, financial distress. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The sample has 11 retail trade companies that meet the determined criteria. The analysis technique used is panel data regression with fixed effect method and hypothesis testing using t-statistic to test the partial regression coefficient. The results showed that liquidity and firm size have no effect on financial distress. Leverage effect on financial distress. Keywords: Financial Distress, Liquidity, Leverage, Firm Size
