Abstract

PT. Garuda Tasco International is a company engaged in the distribution of agricultural equipment. PT. Garuda Tasco International has a distribution supply chain from central suppliers located in China and is distributed in 300 dealers in several regions in Indonesia. The process of distributing PT. Garuda Tasco Indonesia in the Tasikmalaya region is experiencing difficulties in projecting future demand because it still tends to use the estimation method instead. This causes a shortage of products at the distribution center so that customer demand is not fulfilled. Distribution Requirment Planning (DRP) is an appropriate method of planning and scheduling goods to improve the distribution process. The first step is to forecast using the Moving Average, Single Exponential Smothing and Double Exponential Smothing methods with the help of the Minitab software. Then the Moving Average forecasting method with the lowest error value based on the MAPE, MAD and MSE methods, the lowest error value obtained from the MAPE method. After the data meets the criteria, proceed by calculating the Lot Sizing using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and the Period Order Quantity (POQ) method. Based on the calculation of lot sizing brush cutter products, the smallest total cost uses the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, which is Rp. 78,088,725. Keywords: Brush Cutter Product Availability Analysis, Distribution Requirement Planning PT. Garuda Tasco International merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang distributor alat pertanian. PT. Garuda Tasco International memiliki rantai distribusi dari central supplier yang berada di Cina dan didistribusikan di 300 dealer di beberapa wilayah di Indonesia. Proses pendistribusian PT. Garuda Tasco Indonesia di wilayah Tasikmalaya mengalami kendala dalam proyeksi permintaan pada masa yang akan dating sebab masih cenderung menggunakan metode perkiraan saja. Hal ini menyebabkan terjadinya kekurangan jumlah produk pada distribution center sehingga tidak terpenuhinya permintaan pelanggan. Distribution Requirment Planning (DRP) merupakan metode yang tepat dalam melakukan perencanaan dan penjadwalan barang untuk meningkatkan proses distribusi. Langkah pertama melakukan peramalan dengan metode Moving Average, Single Eksponential Smothing dan Double Eksponential Smothing dengan bantuan software Minitab. Lalu metode peramalan Moving Average dengan nilai eror terendah berdasarkan metode MAPE, MAD dan MSE, nilai eror terendah didapat dari metode MAPE. Setelah data memenuhi kriteria dilanjutkan dengan menghitung Lot Sizing dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dan metode Period Order Quantity (POQ). Berdasarkan perhitungan lot sizing produk brush cutter total biaya terkecil menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) yaitu Rp. 78.088.725.
