Abstract
In the production process PT. Mowilex Indonesia always conduct inspections to reduce the level of product defects, but does not close the possibility of still there is a defect. The obstacles that often occur in the final inspection, where when testing by Quality Control of the fineness of the product exceeds the standardization limit that has been set, resulting in a crude product, it is usually done filtering on The Fill-In process uses a 150 mesh filter that takes a long time to complete the product. In an effort to reduce waste (defect), the Lean Six Sigma method is used through the stages of the DMAIC approach (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). The cause of the waste (defect) in the filling process in Fill-In is that has the causal factor of the Fishbone Diagram analysis, where the main cause factor is at 5S + 1E (Human, machine, Material, method, environment, the event does not follow SOP, Latex blocky and dry Binder. Proposed improvement to minimize waste (defect) in the Lean Six Sigma method is to eliminate NVA (Non Value Added) activity and increase time efficiency from 31% up to 54%, from increasing efficiency of time is required proposal that is With merging filtering on the Fill-In process with two tanks at once, eliminating the running activity towards the inspection and retrieval of the results by providing Material Handling such as Conveyor to provide product samples to the parties Inspections, as well as the proposed improvement of the FMEA analysis result is conducted SOP training, performing downtime, and giving the proposal in the form of a new innovation that is the robo cleaning the remnants of dry paint. Mowilex Indonesia selalu melakukan inspeksi guna mengurangi tingkat cacat produk, namun tidak menutup kemungkinan tetap saja terdapat defect. Kendala yang sering terjadi pada inspeksi akhir, dimana ketika pengujian oleh Quality Control tingkat kehalusan produk melebihi batas standarisasi yang sudah ditetapkan, sehingga menimbulkan produk kasar, hal tersebut biasanya dilakukan penyaringan pada proses Fill-In menggunakan saringan 150 mesh yang membutuhkan waktu lama untuk menyelesaikan produk tersebut. Dalam upaya mengurangi waste (defect), digunakan metode Lean Six Sigma melalui tahapan dari pendekatan DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Penyebab terjadinya waste(defect) dalam proses pengisian di Fill-In adalah yang memiliki faktor penyebab dari analisis Fishbone Diagram , dimana faktor penyebab utama ada pada 5S+1E (Manusia, Mesin, Material, Metode, Lingkungan, dintaranya tidak mengikuti SOP, Latex Gumpal dan Binder Kering. Usulan perbaikan untuk meminimasi waste(defect) pada metode Lean Six Sigma adalah dengan menghilangkan aktivitas NVA (Non Value Added) dan meningkatkan efisiensi waktu dari 31% naik menjadi 54%, dari kenaikan efisiensi waktu tersebut diperlukan usulan yaitu dengan penggabungan penyaringan pada proses Fill-In dengan dua Tangki sekaligus, menghilangkan aktivitas berjalan menuju inspeksi dan pengambilan hasil dengan memberikan Material Handling seperti Conveyor untuk memberikan sampel produk kepada pihak Inspeksi, serta usulan perbaikan dari hasil analisis FMEA adalah dilakukan pelatihan SOP, Melakukan Jam Henti, serta memberikan usulan berupa inovasi baru yaitu robo pembersih sisa-sisa cat yang kering.
