Abstract
The success or failure of project implementation is often due to lack of planned project activities and ineffective controls, so that project activities are inefficient, this will result in delays, decreased quality of work, and swelling implementation costs. Project management is carried out to manage the project from the beginning to the end of the project. The case study in this research is PT. Jaga Citra Inti as the executor of the construction work procurement tasked with carrying out the construction of the New Akachan Diapers (Phase 1) Cikarang plant. The PERT (Project Evaluation and Review Technique) and CPM (Critical Path Method) methods are used to find out critical activities, the duration of a project completed and the magnitude of the possibility of acceleration. The results of the critical activities of the construction project of the New Akachan Diapers (Phase 1) Cikarang plant are preparatory work, ducting work, refrigerant pipe installation and AC drainage, Fan unit installation, AC unit installation and Mechanical Testing Commissioning. The optimal duration of the development project is 107 weeks from the normal 109 days with the project cost increasing by Rp. 208,901,660 of the normal project cost of Rp. 7,255,551,777. The total project cost after accelerating the project to Rp. 7,464,435,438, - Project opportunities can be implemented with a duration of 107 weeks amounting to 7.64%. Keberhasilan ataupun kegagalan dari pelaksanaan proyek sering kali disebabkan kurang terencananya kegiatan proyek serta pengendalian yang kurang efektif, sehingga kegiatan proyek tidak efisien, hal ini akan mengakibatkan keterlambatan, menurunnya kualitas pekerjaan, dan membengkaknya biaya pelaksanaan. Manajemen proyek dilakukan untuk mengelola proyek dari awal hingga proyek berakhir. Studi kasus pada penelitian ini adalah PT. Jaga Citra Inti sebagai unsur pelaksana pengadaan pekerjaan konstruksi bertugas melaksanakan pembangunan pabrik New Akachan Diapers (Phase 1) Cikarang. Metode PERT (Project Evaluation and Review Technique) dan CPM (Critical Path Method) digunakan untuk mengetahui kegiatan kritis, durasi suatu proyek tersebut diselesaikan dan mengetahui besarnya kemungkinan percepatan. Hasilnya kegiatan kritis proyek pembangunan Pabrik New Akachan Diapers (Phase 1) Cikarang adalah pekerjaan persiapan, pekerjaan ducting, pekerjaan instalasi pipa refrigeran dan drain AC, pemasangan unit Fan, pemasangan unit AC dan Testing Commissioning Mekanikal. Durasi optimal proyek pembangunan yaitu 107 minggu dari waktu normal 109 minggu dengan biaya proyek bertambah sebesar Rp. 208.901.660 dari biaya normal proyek sebesar Rp. 7.255.551.777,-. Total biaya proyek setelah dilakukan percepatan proyek menjadi Rp. 7.464.435.438,-.Peluang proyek dapat terlaksana dengan durasi 107 minggu adalah sebesar 7,64%.
