Abstract
Mali Airport is located in the district of Kabola which is about 7 km from Kalabahi town center which is the capital of Alor district. Mali airport becomes the government's attention as an effort to increase tourism potential in the form of nature tourism and diving at Mali Beach and Pantar Marine Park, as well as local traditional cultural tourism in Kampung Takpala. With a well designed airport, it is expected to increase both local and international tourists visiting Alor Island. Mali Airport, Alor will be included in the type of Airport feeder with an estimated number of passengers as many as 238,000 passengers per year after the development. The main function of the airport as an infrastructure to support local activities, namely the tourism sector, is the government's effort in developing the economy in Alor Island. Bandara Udara Mali terletak dikecamatan Kabola yang berjarak sekitar 7 km dari pusat kota Kalabahi yang merupakan ibukota Kabupaten Alor.Bandar Udara Mali menjadi perhatian pemerintah sebagai usaha meningkatkan potensi pariwisata berupa wisata alam dan diving di Pantai Mali dan Taman Laut Pantar, serta wisata kebudayaan tradisional lokal di Kampung Takpala. Dengan bandar udara yang didesain dengan baik diharapkan terjadi peningkatan wisatawan baik local maupun internasional yang berkunjung ke Pulau Alor. Bandar udara Mali, Alor nantinya termasuk dalam jenis Bandar udara pengumpan dengan estimasi jumlah penumpang sebanyak 238.000 penumpang per tahun setelah dilakukan pengembangan. Fungsi utama bandar udara sebagai prasarana penunjang kegiatan lokal, yaitu pada sektor pariwisata, merupakan usaha pemerintah dalam mengembangkan perekonomian di Pulau Alor.
