Abstract

PT SUMITRONICS INDONESIA is a company that has an entity as a PLB Warehouse (Bonded Logistics Center). Where the business of PT XYZ is mostly oriented towards shipments from abroad to PLB warehouse which are engaged in trading electronics components. The purpose of this research is to reduce the storage time of containers at the port and to measure the constraints that occur during the importation process. This study uses the Fishbone tool to analyze problems that occur, then analyze important process activities using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method. The Downsizing Tool in the BPI is used to view activities that do not generate Value Added. So that in this study an efficiency of 31.45% is obtained which can reduce the delivery time of important goods to 1 day storage. Key words : Container, Dwelling Time, Bussiness Process Imporvement, Streamlining, Efficiency PT SUMITRONICS INDONESIA merupakan perusahan yang mempunyai entitas sebagai Gudang PLB (Pusat Logistik Berikat). Dimana bisnis dari perushaan tersebut sebagian besar berorientasi pada proses pengirimian dari luar negeri ke gudang PLB yang bergerak pada bidang usaha perdagangan impor komponen elektonik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mereduksi waktu penyimpanan petikemas di pelabuhan dan mengetahui hambatan-hambatan yang terjadi selama proses importase berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan tools Fishbone untuk menganalisis masalah yang terjadi, kemudian menganalisis aktivitas proses impor menggunakan Metode Bussiness Process Improvement (BPI). Tools Streamlining dalam BPI digunakan untuk mengetahui aktivitas yang tidak menghasilkan Value Added. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini didapatkan efisiensi sebesar 31,45% yang dapat mereduksi waktu pengiriman barang impor menjadi 1 hari.
