Abstract
The purpose of this research is to test empirically the influence of liquidity, profitability, leverage and activity to the condition financial distress. The population in this study are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2016. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method so that the research samples obtained as much as 41 companies. Data analysis technique using logistic regression analysis method. The results of hypothesis testing that liquidity is measured by the current ratio, profitability as measured by return on assets, leverage measured by the debt equity ratio and activity measured by total asset turn over. Liquidity, profitability and leverage variables do not affect financial distress and Activity is significant on financial distress. Keywords: current ratio, return on asset, debt equity ratio, total asset turn over, financial distress Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh likuiditas, profitabilitas, leverage dan aktivitas terhadap kondisi financial distress. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua perusahaan sub sektor perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama tahun 2017. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dengan metode purposive sampling sehingga didapatkan sampel penelitian sebanyak 41 perusahaan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis regresi logistik. Hasil pengujian hipotesis bahwa likuiditas yang diukur dengan current ratio, profitabilitas yang diukur dengan return on asset, leverage yang diukur dengan debt equity ratio dan aktivitas yang diukur oleh total asset turn over. Likuiditas, profitabilitas dan leverage tidak berpengaruh terhadap financial distress, sedangkan aktivitas berpengaruh negatif terhadap financial distress Kata Kunci: current ratio, return on asset, debt equity ratio, total asset turn over, financial distress
