Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of internal factors (CR, DER, TATO, SIZE) on profitability (ROA) in basic industrial and chemical sector companies for the period 2014 - 2017. The method of determining the sample of this study was purposive sampling. In accordance with predetermined criteria, obtained a sample of 59 companies with a 4-year observation period so that the total sample was 236 companies. The analysis technique used is the Random Effect Model. R - Square is 0.609606, which means that 60% of the variance Profitability (ROA) can be explained by changes in the CR, DER, TATO, SIZE variables. While the remaining 40% is explained by other factors outside the research model. The results showed that DER, TATO, SIZE did not affect the company's profitability (ROA). CR has a significant positive effect on company profitability (ROA). Keywords: ROA, CR, DER, TATO, SIZE Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh faktor internal (CR, DER, TATO, SIZE) terhadap profitabilitas (ROA) pada perusahaan sektor industri dasar dan kimia periode 2014 - 2017. Metode penentuan sampel penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Sesuai dengan kriteria yang telah ditentukan, diperoleh sampel sebanyak 59 perusahaan dengan periode pengamatan 4 tahun sehingga jumlah sampel 236 perusahaan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Random Effect Model. R – Square sebesar 0,609606, yang memiliki makna bahwa 60% dari varians Profitabilitas (ROA) dapat dijelaskan oleh perubahan dalam variabel CR, DER, TATO, SIZE. Sedangkan sisanya yaitu 40% dijelaskan oleh faktor lain diluar model penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa DER, TATO, SIZE tidak berpengaruh terhadap Profitabilitas (ROA) perusahaan. CR berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap Profitabilitas (ROA) perusahaan. Kata Kunci: ROA, CR, DER, TATO, SIZE
