Abstract
Earthquake resistant structural design commonly used the concept of forced-based design (FBD). The concept is only based on the analysis of elastic structures and not directly indicated the performance of the building against the effects of the occurred earthquake. So, it requires a performance evaluation by conducting analyzes to reach a state of inelastic structure called the concept of performance-based design (PBD). In this study, there are two methods of performance analysis that were based on the lateral displacement of the inelastic conditions, the methods are Direct Displacement Based Design (DDBD) and Capacity Spectrum Method (CSM). The purposes of this study are to identify and to compare between the performance parameters of the methods. The structural model is a dual system regular building which combine a frame structure and reinforced concrete wall. The seismic load design in this study based on SNI 1726-2012. The reviewed parameter values are the displacement, base shear force, effective damping, and effective vibrating times. The results of this study indicated that all the parameter values ofthe DDBD method analysis are larger than CSM method. DDBD method produced a target displacement 1,007 m, the base shear force 36501,4 kN, effective damping 11,01%, and the effective vibrating times 4,88 seconds. Mean while the method of CSM produced target displacement 0,71254 m, the base shear force 16012,9 kN, effective damping 13,40% and the effective vibrating times of 5,202 seconds. The evaluation of the structure performances which is based on ATC-40 indicated the DDBD method was on damage control level, whereas the CSM method was on the immediate occupancy level.. Keywords: Inelastic, dual system regular building structure, direct displacement based design, capacity spectrum method, structure performance Desain struktur tahan gempa biasa menggunakan konsep forced-based desain (FBD). Konsep tersebut hanya didasarkan pada analisis struktur elastik dan tidak secara langsung menunjukkan kinerja bangunan terhadap pengaruh gempa yang terjadi. Untuk itu diperlukan evaluasi kinerja dengan melakukan analisis untuk mencapai keadaan struktur yang tidak elastis yang disebut konsep performance-based design (PBD). Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua metode analisis unjuk kerja yang didasarkan pada pergeseran lateral kondisi inelastis yaitu metode Direct Displacement Based Design (DDBD) dan Metode Spektrum Kapasitas (CSM). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan membandingkan antara parameter kinerja dari metode tersebut. Model struktur merupakan bangunan biasa sistem ganda yang menggabungkan struktur rangka dan dinding beton bertulang. Desain beban gempa pada penelitian ini berdasarkan SNI 1726-2012. Nilai parameter yang ditinjau adalah perpindahan, gaya geser dasar, redaman efektif, dan waktu getar efektif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semua nilai parameter analisis metode DDBD lebih besar dari metode CSM. Metode DDBD menghasilkan displacement target 1,007 m, gaya geser dasar 36501,4 kN, redaman efektif 11,01%, dan waktu getar efektif 4,88 detik. Sedangkan metode CSM menghasilkan perpindahan target 0,71254 m, gaya geser dasar 16012,9 kN, redaman efektif 13,40% dan waktu getar efektif 5,202 detik. Evaluasi kinerja struktur berbasis ATC-40 menunjukkan metode DDBD berada pada level pengendalian kerusakan, sedangkan metode CSM berada pada level hunian langsung. Kata Kunci : Struktur bangunan biasa sistem ganda yang tidak elastis, berbasis perpindahan langsung desain, metode spektrum kapasitas, kinerja struktur.
