Abstract

Jig and Fixture is a tool for the production of workpieces that are used in the working of components accurately and in bulk. In this report, jigs and fixtures are used to jigs the exhaust main section machining process. The purpose of this jig and fixture design is to help production equipment to operate quickly and have a low product selling price. The working principle of the jigs and fixtures is after the product is installed on the jig and set on the cnc milling machine, the machine will process facing the surface then the process of drilling and making groove seals using the tool change system. This jig and fixture design method, namely: determination of working principles, designing 3D designs using unigrapich 8 software, jig making process analysts and machining process simulations and calculating HPP and BEP. Having obtained the results of jig model design using ss400 type material with a total weight 81.24 kg and dimensions of 610 mm x 349.5 mm x 275 mm and the analysis of the calculation of the machining process time for jig manufacturing is 266 hours of process. The results of the simulations for the machining process of making the main main product are 16 minutes 45 seconds with the operator setting time 5 minutes per product the results obtained are the Break Even Point of 801 pcs and the cost of making a jig of Rp. 19,251,271 Keywords: design, jig and fixture, cnc milling, unigrapichs 8 ,BEP Jig and Fixture adalah alat pemegang benda kerja produksi yang digunakan dalam pengerjaaan komponen secara akuratdan massal. Dalam laporan ini Jig dan fixture dipakai untuk jig proses machining produk exhaust main section.Tujuan desain jig and fixture ini yaitu untuk membantu alat produksi agar dapat beroperasi dengan cepat dan memiliki harga jual produk yang rendah.Prinsip kerja jig and fixture ini adalah setelah produk dipasang pada jig dan di setting di mesin cnc milling maka mesin akan melakukan proses facing permukaan kemudian proses drill dan pembuatan alur seal dengan menggunakan sistem tool change. Metode desain jig and fixture ini, yaitu: penentuan prinsip kerja, perancangan 3D desain menggunakan software unigrapich 8,analis proses pembuatan jig dan Simulasi Proses machining dan menghitung HPP dan BEP.Telah didapatkan hasil dari desain model jig dengan menggunakan material jenis ss400 dengan berat total 81,24 kg dan dimensi 610 mm x 349.5 mm x 275 mm dan analisa perhitungan waktu proses machining untuk pembuatan jig adalah 266 jam proses.Hasil dari simulai untuk proses machining pembuatan produk exhaust main section yaitu 16 menit 45 detik dengan waktu setting operator 5 menit per produk diperoleh Break Even Point sebanyak 11.273 pcs dan biaya pembuatan jig sebesar Rp 19.251.271 Kata Kunci : desain,jig and fixture,cnc milling,unigrapichs 8,BEP
