Abstract

his study examines the effect of working capital turnover and firm size on profitability in manufacturing companies in cosmetics and household appliances sub-sector manufacturing companies. This study used a sample of trading, service and investment companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2011 - 2017. The samples were determined using the purposive sampling method. This study has 35 samples from 5 companies. In this study, the hypothesis was tested using logistic regression. The results showed that the effect of working capital turnover ratio and company size, inventory simultaneously and partially on profitability (ROA) in cosmetics and household companies on the IDX in 2011-2017 Keywords : Working Capital Turnover, and Effect of Company Size on Profitability (ROA) Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh perputaran modal kerja dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap profitabilitas pada perusahaan manufaktur pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sector kosmetik dan peralatan rumah tangga . Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel perusahaan perdagangan, jasa dan investasi di Bursa Efek Indonesia selama periode 2011 – 2017. Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Penelitian ini memiliki 35 sampel dari 5 perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini, hipotesis diuji menggunakan regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan mengetahui pengaruh rasio perputaran modal kerja, dan ukuran perusahaan , persediaan secara simultan dan parsial terhadap profitabilitas (ROA) pada perusahaan kosmetik dan keperluan rumah tangga di BEI tahun 2011-2017. Kata Kunci : Perputaran Modal Kerja, dan Pengaruh Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Profitabilitas (ROA)
