Abstract

Steel is a material widely used for building construction now a days. The characteristics of steel that has high ductility are highly suitable for the construction of earthquake-resistant steel structures in Indonesia, where most of the area is located in earthquake-prone zones. It can be seen when earthquakes hit some areas in Indonesia some time age and caused damages to facilities and infrastructure in areas impacted by the disaster. In the construction of earthquake-resistant steel structures, the structural system used can be Special Moment Frames (SMF), Ordinary Moment Frames (OMF), Concentrically Braced Frames (CBF), and Eccentrically Braced Frames (EBF). Concentrically Braced Frames (CBF) is a grathly strong and sturdy structure because it has a large influence on the frame, making it very suitable to withstand lateral loads caused by an earthquake. Growing parking demand and limited parking space make vertical parking spaces increasingly where the parking building must be able to withstand the force of gravity and earthquake. Steel structures for parking buildings are in demand for vertical parking buildings because their construction process is fast. Keywords : Structural Analysis, Steel, Concentric Bracing Baja merupakan salah satu material yang saat ini banyak dipakai untuk kontruksi bangunan. Karakteristik baja yang memiliki daktilitas tinggi sangat sesuai untuk kontruksi struktur bangunan baja tahan gempa di Indonesia, yang sebagian besar wilayahnya berada dalam zona rawan gempa. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada kejadian beberapa waktu yang lalu dimana gempa melada daerah-daerah di indonesia dan menyebabkan kerusakan terhadap sarana dan prasarana di daerah yang terkena dampak bencana tersebut. Pada kontruksi struktur bangunan baja tahan gempa, sistem struktur yang dipakai bisa berupa Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus (SRPMK), Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Biasa (SRPMB), Sistem Rangka Bresing Konsentrik (SRBK), dan Sistem Rangka Bresing Eksentrik (SRBE). Rangka Baja Bresing Konsentrik (SRBK) merupakan struktur yang sangat kuat dan kaku karena adanya penambahan bresing pada rangka sehingga sangat cocok untuk menahan beban lateral akibat gempa.Kebutuhan parkir yang meningkat dan keterbatasan lahan parkir membuat semakin dibutuhkannya lahan parkir vertikal dimana banguhnan parkir tersebut harus mampu menahan gaya gravitasi & gempa. Struktur baja untuk gedung parkir banyak diminati untuk bangunan gedung parkir vertikal dikarenakan kecepatan pada proses kontruksinya. Kata Kunci : Analisis Struktur, Baja, Bresing Konsentrik
