Abstract

Parts of the world inhabited by humans are earthquake-prone areas, Indonesia is an area prone to natural disasters, including earthquakes. The existing conventional earthquake-resistant building planning is still based on the concept of how to increase the structural resistance capacity of the structure against earthquake forces (make: Capacity> Demand). One component that has been developed as an alternative design approach to reduce the risk of damage to buildings due to earthquakes, and is able to maintain the integrity of structural and non-structural components against strong earthquakes is to use seismic insulation in the form of bearings as a separator between the superstructure and the foundation or often referred to as with the name base isolation. In this final project, the writer analyzes two different structures, namely the Fixed Base structure and the Base Isolation structure. At the analysis stage using procedures in accordance with SNI 1726: 2019 regulations. The purpose of this Final Project is to be able to plan and analyze the two structures of the building against earthquake forces and to know the behavior of the two structures which include (basic shear force, displacement, and deviation. The results of the analysis on the base isolation structure obtained the dimensions of the isolator with a thickness of 200 mm and a diameter of 600 mm, a structure with seismic isolation can reduce earthquake forces even though the earthquake force is greater than what happens, the deviation and displacement that occurs on the Base Isolation structure can reduce earthquake forces compared with Fixed Base structure. The area needed for Base Isolation reinforcement has an average reduction of 26% from the Fixed Base structure. From the various data obtained, it indicates that the Base Isoaltion structure is very effective in reducing and resisting the earthquake forces that occur and is even greater than the planned earthquake. Sebagian dari wilayah dunia yang dihuni manusia merupakan daerah rawan gempa,Indonesia merupakan wilayah rawan terhadap bencana alam antara lain bencana gempa bumi. Perencanaan bangunan tahan gempa konvensional yang ada saat ini masih berlandaskan konsep bagaimana meningkatkan kapasitas tahanan struktur terhadap gaya gempa (membuat: Capacity > Demand). Salah satu komponen yang telah dikembangkan sebagai pendekatan desain alternatif untuk mengurangi resiko kerusakan bangunan akibat gempa, dan mampu mempertahankan integritas komponen struktural dan non-struktural terhadap gempa kuat adalah dengan menggunakan isolasi seismik yang berupa bantalan sebagai pemisah antara struktur atas dengan fondasi atau sering juga disebut dengan nama base isolation. Pada Tugas Akhir ini penulis melakukan analisa dua struktur yang berbeda yakni struktur Fixed Base dan struktur Base Isolation. Pada tahapan analisa menggunakan prosedur sesuai dengan peraturan SNI 1726:2019. Tujuan dari Tugas Akhir ini agar dapat merencanakan dan menganalisa kedua struktur bangunan tersebut terhadap gaya gempa serta dapat mengetahui perikaku kedua struktur tersebut yang meliputi (gaya geser dasar, displacement, dan simpangan. Hasil dari analisa pada struktur base isolation diperoleh dimensi Isolator dengan tebal 200 mm dan diameter 600 mm, struktur dengan isolasi seismik dapat mereduksi gaya gempa meskipun gaya gempa lebih besar daripada yang terjadi, simpangan dan perpindahan yang terjadi pasa struktur Base Isolation mampu mereduksi gaya gempa dibandingkan dengan struktur Fixed Base. Luas kebutuhan tulangan Base Isolation mengalami reduksi rata-rata 26% dari struktur Fixed Base. Dari berbagai data yang diperoleh mengindikasikan bahwa struktur Base Isoaltion sangat efektif dalam mereduksi dan menahan gaya gempa yang terjadi dan bahkan lebih besar dari gempa yang direncakan.
