Abstract

The most widely used pavement in Indonesia is asphalt concrete or laston AC-WC (Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Concrete). The application of asphalt concrete for road conditions with high traffic volumes often finds problems, namely the asphalt and aggregate constituent materials can cause cavities in the pavement. To overcome this, it is therefore necessary to check the filler (added material) to obtain the effect of the filler on the asphalt concrete layer in order to meet the specifications in accordance with natural conditions and traffic conditions so that a durable road can be made. One of the alternative filler materials used is rice husk ash and zeolite. The Marshall test was carried out from several testing stages, namely cement filler testing without additives for the KAO value, as well as cement filler testing using additives for the additive KAO value and with variations of rice husk ash filler and zeolite to produce Marshall parameters. This test was carried out on the AC-WC Pen asphalt mixture. 60/70. The specimens were carried out using asphalt content of 5%, 5.5%, 6%, 6.5% and additives 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.4%, as well as variations in the filler of rice husk ash and zeolite 0: 100, 25: 75, 50:50, 75:25, 100: 0. Research results from the Marshall test KAO 6.12% and the additive KAO 0.34%. In the overall variation of the filler of rice husk ash and zeolite for 30 minutes of immersion, the VIM value was obtained with a variation of 0 - 15% that met the requirements of Bina Marga 2018. Perkerasan jalan yang paling banyak digunakan di Indonesia adalah lapisan aspal beton atau laston AC-WC (Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Concrete). Penerapan aspal beton untuk kondisi jalan dengan volume lalu lintas yang cukup tinggi seringkali ditemukan masalah yaitu bahan penyusun aspal dan agregat dapat menimbulkan rongga pada perkerasan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, Oleh karena itu diperlukan pemeriksaan filler (bahan tambah) untuk memperoleh pengaruh filler terhadap lapisan aspal beton guna memenuhi spesifikasi yang sesuai dengan kondisi alam dan kondisi lalu lintas agar dapat dibuat jalan yang tahan lama. Salah satu alternative bahan material filler yang digunakan ialah abu sekam padi dan zeolit. Pada pengujian marshall ini dilakukan dari beberapa tahap pengujian yaitu pengujian filler semen tanpa zat additive untuk nilai KAO, serta pengujian filler semen menggunakan zat additive untuk nilai KAO additive dan dengan variasi filler abu sekam padi dan zeolit untuk menghasilkan parameter marshall. Pengujian ini dilakukan pada campuran aspal AC – WC Pen. 60/70. Benda uji dilakukan menggunakan kadar aspal 5%, 5,5%, 6%, 6,5% dan zat additive 0.1%, 0.2%, 0.3%, 0.4%, serta variasi filler abu sekam padi dan zeolit 0:100, 25:75, 50:50, 75:25, 100:0. Hasil Penelitian dari uji Marshall test KAO 6.12% dan KAO zat additive 0.34%. Pada keseluruhan variasi filler abu sekam padi dan zeolit perendaman 30 menit diperoleh nilai VIM dengan variasi 0 – 15% yang memenuhi persyaratan ketentuan Bina Marga 2018.
