Abstract
Cages are a medium for pet to live, while display cages are also used for animal sellers or animal collectors. In general, display cages do not yet have a design specifically for sugar gliders, because sugar gliders have different character and habits. As well as the needs of sugar glider sellers who often sell pets from several events in Jabodetabek or other big cities in Java, and sellers also sell their products through online media, in this case the designer finds several points for the design. From these observations, the designers drew to develop a cage design so that the seller can maximize their needs, and the sugar glider can be comfortable in the cage Kandang merupakan media pemeliharaan hewan peliharaan, sedangkan kandang display biasanya digunakan untuk para penjual hewan atau kolektor hewan. Pada umumnya kandang display belum memiliki desain yang dikhusus kan untuk hewan sugar glider, karena sugar glider memiliki karakter serta habit yang berbeda. Serta kebutuhan penjual sugar glider yang kerap menjual hewan peliharaan dari beberapa event yang ada di jabodetabek atau kota besar lainnya dipulau jawa dan penjual juga menjualkan produknya melalu media online, dalam hal ini perancang menemukan beberapa poin untuk perancangan tersebut. Dari observasi tersebut perancang terarik untuk mengembangkan desain kandang agar penjual dapat memaksimalkan kebutuhannya, serta sugar glider dapat nyaman dalam kandang.
