Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to know how to work. With. To know safety stock and Re Order Point on Javanese chilli purchase using Economic Order Quantity method. The type of research used is descriptive research with quantitative approach. Sources of data in the study using a secondary data source directly from the company. Data collection using. Data analysis used in this research is using Economic Order Quantity method. The result of proven analysis from company's job applying Economic Order Quantity method in the calculated period in purchasing raw material of chilli jawa there is the difference of cost saving total cost of raw material of Java chili as much as Rp. 2,576,277 with an average of 26895 Kg, Safety stock of 5317 Kg, and Re Order Point of 5259 Kg. Based on the analysis performed. PT.Marguna T.A.F apply Economic Order Quantity method in determining the quantity of goods needed, which can be done total cost incurred by company. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengendalian persediaan bahan baku utama (cabe jawa) PT.Marguna T.A.F dengan mengetaui Safety Stock dan Re Order Point pada pembelian cabe jawa dengan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian menggunakan sumber data sekunder yang diperoleh langsung dari perusahaan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity. Hasil dari analisis membuktikan bahwa apabila perusahaan menerapkan metode Economic Order Quantity pada periode yang diperhitungkan di dalam pembelian bahan baku cabe jawa terdapat adanya selisih penghematan pengeluaran total biaya persediaan bahan baku cabe jawa sebanyak Rp. 2.576.277 dengan pemebelian rata-rata sebanyak 26895 Kg, Safety stock sebanyak 5317 Kg, dan Re Order Point sebanyak 5259 Kg. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan sebaiknya PT.Marguna T.A.F menerapkan metode Economic Order Quantity didalam menentukan kuantitas pembelian bahan baku utama (cabe jawa) yang optimal, Sehingga dapat meminimalkan total biaya persediaan yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan.
