Abstract

Light is one of the basic needs of living things, including humans. Without the presence of light, there is certainly no life on this earth. The main light source in this universe is the sun. Humans cannot continuously depend on sunlight because the sun appears at certain hours. Over time, humans create various artificial light sources such as lights. Lights have many types, one of which is a decorative lamp. Decorative lights have the function of additional lighting where the aspect to be highlighted is the effect of the light produced. In addition to functioning as lighting, decorative lights can also be used as additional decoration to beautify the room. To get an interesting light effect, the authors apply talawang carvings from Kalimantan into the decorative lights. By going through digital simulations. as a means to digitally create decorative lighting. To get maximum results and through sources from several books and journals circulating in libraries and several trusted websites. From many books and journals, as well as from the results of digital visualization, a design that refers to the geometric shapes with the addition of talawang carvings has been processed. The result of this design is in the form of decorative lamps made from wood which have been carved by CNC which are Talawang motif. This lamp can be applied in various places according to user needs Keywords: Lamp, decorative, ethnic, borneo, talawang Cahaya merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pokok makhluk hidup tak terkecuali manusia. Tanpa adanya cahaya dapat dipastikan tidak ada kehidupan di bumi ini. Sumber cahaya utama pada alam semesta ini adalah matahari. Manusia tidak dapat terus menerus bergantung pada cahaya matahari karena matahari muncul pada jam tertentu. Seiring berjalannya waktu manusia menciptakan berbagai sumber cahaya buatan seperti lampu. Lampu memiliki banyak jenis, salah satunya adalah lampu hias. Lampu hias memiliki fungsi sebagai penerangan tambahan dimana aspek yang ingin ditonjolkan adalah efek cahaya yang dihasilkan. Selain berfungsi sebagai penerangan, lampu hias juga dapat digunakan sebagai hiasan tambahan untuk memperindah ruangan. Untuk mendapatkan efek cahaya yang menarik, penulis menerapkan ukiran talawang yang berasal dari Kalimantan kedalam lampu hias. Dengan melalui simulasi digital. sebagai sarana untuk membuat visual lampu hias secara digital. Untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal serta melalui sumber dari beberapa buku dan jurnal yang beredar di perpustakaan dan beberapa website terpercaya. Dari beberapa buku dan jurnal, serta dari hasil visualisasi secara digital maka terciptalah desain yang mengacu pada bentuk geometris dengan tambahan ukiran talawang yang sudah diproses stilasi. Hasil dari perancangan ini adalah berupa lampu hias dari bahan kayu yang telah diproses ukir dengan CNC yaitu motif talawang. Lampu ini dapat di aplikasikan diberbagai tempat sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Kata kunci: Lampu, hias, etnik, Kalimantan, talawang
