Abstract

The Maritime Museum is a museum located in an urban area, namely DKI Jakarta, precisely around North Jakarta. This museum is visited by many students, students, and local and foreign tourists. The facilities owned by this museum are facilities that support the needs of museum visitors, namely seeing and studying the museum's collection. Facilities available include exhibition space, library, and others. The problem identification in this report is how to apply modern technology to support the education process while creating a creative atmosphere in the museum. The style that will be applied by this hotel is Modern, with the concept of Tropical Achipelago with Modern Education which is a tropical feel by displaying a collection of museums originating from various islands in Indonesia with the application of technology that supports the educational process and information reception. It aims to recall the history of Indonesian culture through tropical design which is the climate in Indonesia. Keywords : Museum, Maritime, Tropical Archipelago with Modern Education Museum Bahari merupakan museum yang terletak di area perkotaan yaitu di DKI Jakarta, tepatnya di sekitar Jakarta Utara. Museum ini banyak dikunjungi oleh pelajar, mahasiswa, dan wisatawan lokal maupun mancanegara. Adapun fasilitas yang dimiliki oleh museum ini adalah fasilitas penunjang kebutuhan pengunjung museum, yaitu melihat dan mempelajari koleksi museum. Fasilitas yang tersedia diantaranya ruang pameran, perpustakaan, dan lain-lain. Identifikasi masalah pada laporan ini adalah bagaimana menerapakan teknologi modern untuk mendukung proses edukasi sekaligus menciptakan suasana yang rekreatif pada museum. Gaya yang akan diterapkan oleh hotel ini adalah Modern, dengan konsep Tropical Achipelago with Modern Education yaitu nuansa tropis dengan menampilkan koleksi museum yang berasal dari berbagai kepulauan di Indonesia dengan penerapan teknologi yang mendukung proses edukasi dan penerimaan informasi. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengingat kembali sejarah-sejarah tentang kebaharian Indonesia melalui desain tropis yang merupakan iklim yang terdapat di Indonesia.
