Abstract

In this study discussed about Inventory Management of Medical Consumables with the Min-Max Method case study in JEC @ Menteng, which is an inventory system that is needed in a company. Inventory problems at JEC @ Menteng are a considerable amount of medical consumables (BHP), some medical BHPs are too overstocked, some medical BHPs are too little or stockout, and BHP medical purchase plans often use estimates that resulting in the number being less precise and not as needed. The purpose of this study is to attempt to solve inventory problems in JEC @ Menteng, so that the company can determine safety stock, minimum inventory, maximum inventory, and the number of orders that each BHP medical requires so that it can save inventory costs. This research through the stages of ABC analysis to determine the group of items on each item, then proceed with the calculation of minimum inventory, maximum, safety stock, average inventory value, turnover ratio, inventory turnover and total inventory cost, followed by comparing the results of the method calculation min -max with company method calculation. The results of the study by applying the Min-max method turned out to be able to increase turnover ratio (TOR), inventory turnover (ITO), reduce the average inventory value and total inventory cost (TIC) so that the investment cost savings of Rp. 4,409, - for 2016 and Rp. 24,102,396, - for 2017. Penelitian ini mengenai Inventory Management Bahan Habis Pakai Medik dengan Metode Min-Max studi kasus di JEC @ Menteng, yang mana inventory system sangat dibutuhkan dalam suatu perusahaan. Masalah inventory di JEC @ Menteng adalah Bahan Habis Pakai (BHP) Medik yang cukup banyak, sebagian BHP medik terlalu banyak stocknya (overstock), sebagian BHP medik terlalu sedikit atau habis stocknya (stockout), dan perencanaan pembelian BHP medik cukup sering menggunakan perkiraan yang mengakibatkan jumlahnya menjadi kurang tepat dan tidak sesuai yang dibutuhkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah berupaya memecahkan masalah inventory di JEC @ Menteng, sehingga perusahaan dapat menetapkan safety stock, persediaan minimum, persediaan maksimum, dan jumlah order dari setiap BHP medik yang dibutuhkan sehingga didapatkan penghematan biaya inventory. Penelitian ini melalui tahapan analisis ABC untuk menentukan kelompok barang pada setiap item, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan persediaan minimum, maksimum, safety stock, nilai persediaan ratarata, turnover ratio, inventory turnover dan total inventory cost, yang dilanjutkan dengan membandingkan hasil perhitungan metode min-max dengan perhitungan metode perusahaan. Hasil penelitian dengan diterapkan metode min-max ternyata dapat meningkatkan turnover ratio (TOR), inventory turnover (ITO), menurunkan nilai persediaan rata-rata dan total inventory cost (TIC) sehingga didapatkan penghematan biaya invetory sebesar Rp. 4.409,- untuk tahun 2016 dan Rp. 24.102.396,- untuk tahun 2017.
