Abstract
COVID-19 has had a huge impact on people in Indonesia. Since the enactment of Large- Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), the community has been obliged to carry out health protocols including conducting social distancing. Online ojek drivers are one of the many jobs affected by this pandemic. The community resilience of the online ojek drivers is very much needed considering the PSBB limits the current performance of online ojek drivers and they must continue to look for income to meet their daily needs. Hope and happiness are expected to help increase the level of community resilience of the online ojek drivers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hope and happiness with the community resilience of the online ojek drivers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research design is quantitative with correlational method. A total of 181 people consisting of online ojek drivers who worked during the COVID-19 pandemic became participants in this study. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between hope and community resilience, as well as happiness and community resilience. This shows that hope and happiness can increase community resilience for online ojek drivers. This research is expected to provide new insights for social workers such as in the service sector, as well as in the scientific field. Keywords : Community Resilience, Hope, Happiness, Online Ojek Drivers COVID-19 memberikan dampak yang sangat besar bagi masyarakat di Indonesia. Sejak ditetapkannya Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB), masyarakat diwajibkan menjalankan protokol kesehatan termasuk melakukan social distancing. Driver ojek online menjadi salah satu dari banyak pekerjaan yang terkena imbas dari pandemi ini. Ketahanan kelompok ojek online sangat dibutuhkan mengingat PSBB membatasi kinerja ojek online saat ini dan mereka harus terus mencari pendapatan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Harapan dan kebahagiaan diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan tingkat ketahanan kelompok ojek online selama pandemi COVID-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan hope dan happiness dengan resiliensi kelompok ojek online selama pandemi COVID-19. Desain penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sebanyak 181 orang yang terdiri dari driver ojek online yang bekerja selama pandemi COVID-19 menjadi partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara hope dengan resiliensi kelompok, begitu juga dengan happiness dengan resiliensi kelompok. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa harapan dan kebahagiaan dapat meningkatkan resiliensi kelompok bagi driver ojek online. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan baru bagi tenaga pekerja sosial seperti dibidang jasa, maupun pada bidang keilmuan.
