Abstract

Simpang Empat Duren, Ciputat, South Tangerang is one of the intersections in Tangerang City. This intersection is a four-armed intersection that belongs to the category of intersecting intersection, because at this intersection there is no APILL (Traffic Giver Tool). Thus, at this intersection often occurs congestion with the number of vehicles piled up and make long queues, especially during rush hour, ie morning and evening, so it is necessary to study the road and intersection and give the best solution in now condition. The method used in this study is the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual 1997 (MKJI 1997) which includes analysis of intersection capacity, length of queue, and delay. Data obtained by conducting surveys on traffic, geometric intersections and the volume and speed of roads, especially Simpang Empat Duren, Ciputat, South Tangerang Highway during rush hour on work, school day and day off, then evaluated. From the results of the analysis that has been done, obtained the performance of the intersection of intersection of Simpang Empat Duren at the maximum current has the value of degree of saturation (DS) 1,04, Level Of Service (LOS) F. Alternative solutions that meet the target are obtained in alternative 3, namely an alternative combination between prohibitions turning right on approach D from Jl. Merpati headed for Jl. KH. Dewantara is transferred through Jl. Elang Raya and the widening alternative of the widening approach with the results of the service level performance segment D from the reference degree of saturation worth 0.84. alternative solution 5 change in intersection type into 2 phase signal intersection obtained service level C (Medium Level). Simpang Empat Duren, Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan, merupakan salah satu simpang empat lengan tak bersinyal di Kota Tangerang Selatan karena pada simpang ini tidak terdapat APILL (Alat Pemberi Isyarat Lalu Lintas). Sehingga, pada simpang ini sering terjadi kemacetan dengan banyaknya kendaraan yang bertumpuk dan membuat antrian panjang terutama pada jam-jam sibuk, yaitu pagi dan sore hari, Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya kajian mengenai ruas dan simpang jalan, serta solusi yang terbaik untuk menanggulangi permasalahan yang ada saat ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997 (MKJI 1997) yang meliputi analisa terhadap kapasitas persimpangan, panjang antrian, serta tundaan. Data didapat dengan melakukan survey terhadap lalu lintas, geometrik persimpangan serta volume dan kecepatan pada ruas jalan khususnya Simpang Empat Duren, Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan pada jam sibuk dihari kerja, hari sekolah dan dihari libur, kemudian dievaluasi. Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan , didapat hasil kinerja eksisting simpang tak bersinyal pada arus maksimum berupa nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS) 1,04, Tingkat Pelayanan atau Level Of Service (LOS) F. Solusi alternatif yang memenuhi sasaran didapat pada alternatif 3 yaitu kombinasi alternatif antara pelarangan belok kanan pada pendekat D dari Jl. Merpati menuju Jl. KH. Dewantara dialihkan melalui Jl. Elang Raya dan alternatif pelebaran lebar pendekat dengan hasil ruas kinerja tingkat pelayanan D dari acuan derajat kejenuhan sebesar 0,84. Solusi alternatif 5 dengan melakukan perubahan tipe simpang menjadi simpang bersinyal 2 fase didapat tingkat pelayanan simpang C (Tingkat Sedang) Kata Kunci : Simpang Tak Bersinyal, Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia 1997, Derajat Kejenuha (DS), Level Of Service (LOS)
