Abstract

This study aims to prove empirically the effect of firm size, profitability and leverage on corporate social responsibility disclosure. This study uses a causal method. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in Indonesia. The samples used in this study were 45 annual reports from 9 food and beverage sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2013 - 2017. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling. The method of analysis of research data uses multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that company size and leverage affect the disclosure of corporate social responsibility, while profitability does not show an effect on corporate social responsibility disclosure. Keywords: Company size, Profitability, Leverage and Corporate Social Responsibility Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan secara empiris pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas dan leverage terhadap pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang berada di Indonesia. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 45 laporan tahunan dari 9 perusahaan manufaktur sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2013 – 2017. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling. Metode analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ukuran perusahaan dan leverage berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan, sedangkan profitabilitas tidak menunjukan pengaruh terhadap pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan.
