Abstract

Steam leaks that occur in the internal pipe through the internal pipe sleeve to remove the internal pipe leakage pipe will be replaced with flexible internal so that no more leakage when steam is inserted through the internal pipe. The purpose of this replacement is to increase the productivity of the machine so that there is no loss in production and energy. Researchers collect leaked engine data which will then be calculated to determine the energy losses. After doing the calculation then got the value of the loss of 226.9727 kW. From this disadvantage we can replace internal pipe sheets with internal flexible, because internally flexible constructs distribute the steam directly to the internal pipe while the internal sleeve distributes the steam through the slurry pipe first where with the sleeve system there is a gap for the pipe joints that allows the steam leak to occur. After changing machine work optimally there is no product defect and no leakage. Keywords: Steam, Leakage, Internal Pipe, flexible internal. Kebocoran uap air yang terjadi pada pipa internal lewat selongsong pipa internal maka untuk menghilangkan kebocoran selong pipa internal akan diganti dengan flexible internal supaya tidak ada lagi kebocoran saat uap air dimasukkan lewat pipa internal. Tujuan dari penggantian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan produktifitas mesin agar tidak ada kerugian dalam produksi dan energi. Peneliti mengumpulkan data mesin yang bocor kemudian akan dihitung untuk mengetahui kerugian energi. Setelah melakukan perhitungan maka didapatlah nilai kerugian itu sebesar 226.9727 kW. Dari kerugian ini kita bisa mengganti selongsong pipa internal dengan flexible internal, karena secara kontruksi flexible internal mendistribusikan uap langsung ke pipa internal sedangkan selongsong internal mendistribusikan uap dengan melalui selongsong pipa terlebih dahulu dimana dengan system selongsong ada celah untuk sambungan pipa yang memungkinkan terjadi kebocoran uap. Setelah melakukan pergantian mesin berkerja secara optimal tidak ada cacat produk dan tidak ada kebocoran. Kata kunci: Steam, Kebocoran, Pipa internal, flexible internal.
