Abstract

This research aims to know the influence of Return on Equity (ROE), Profit Margin (PM) and Equity Multiplier (EM) on Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO). The object for this research is metal sub-sector companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2012-2016. This research was conducted using secondary data, namely financial statements. The sample selection technique in this study used a purposive sampling method and obtained 12 companies that fit the criteria. Data analysis was carried out by panel data regression analysis method. Data processing in this study uses software Eviews 9. The most appropriate model used is the Common Effect using AR (1). The result of this research shows that, variable of Return on Equity (ROE), Equity Multiplier (EM) and AR(1) positive affect the Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO) on metal sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange while, the Profit Margin (PM) do not affect the Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO) in metal sub-sector companies listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange. Keywords : Return on Equity, Profit Margin, Equity Multiplier and Fixed Assets Turnover. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Return On Equity (ROE), Profit Margin (PM) dan Equity Multiplier (EM) terhadap Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO). Objek penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sub sektor logam yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2012-2016. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan data sekunder yaitu laporan keuangan. Teknik pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan didapat 12 perusahaan yang sesuai dengan kriteria. Analisis data dilakukan dengan metode analisis regresi data panel. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan software Eviews 9. Model yang lebih tepat digunakan adalah Common Effect dengan menggunakan AR(1). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, variabel Return on Equity (ROE), Equity Multiplier (EM) dan AR(1) berpengaruh positif terhadap Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO) pada perusahaan sub sektor logam yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) sedangkan variabel Profit Margin (PM) tidak berpengaruh terhadap Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO) pada perusahaan sub sektor logam yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Kata kunci: Return on Equity (ROE), Profit Margin (PM), Equity Multiplier (EM) dan Fixed Assets Turnover (FATO).
