Abstract

This study aims to analized the inflence of financial knowledge, locus of control and income on the personal financial behavior. Population in this research is 435 employee of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta. The sample used is 100 employees, calculated based on Slovin formula. The sampling method uses probabiliy sampling. The method of data collection using survey method, with the research instrument is a questionnaire. The data analysis method using Partial Least Square. This study proves that financial knowledge has a positive and significant effect on the personal financial behavior. Locus of control has a positive and significant effect on the personal financial behavior. Income has a positive and significant effect on the personal financial behavior. Keywords: Financial Behavior, Financial Knowledge, Locus of Control, income Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh financial knowledge, locus of control dan income terhadap personal financial behavior. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 435 pegawai pada PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta. Sampel yang dipergunakan adalah sebanyak 100 pegawai, dihitung berdasarkan rumus Slovin. Metode penarikan sampel menggunakan probability sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey, dengan instrumen penelitian adalah kuesioner. Metode analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa financial knowledge berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap personal financial behavior. Locus of control berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap personal financial behavior. Income berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap personal financial behavior.
